We, nomadic.report, respect the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and this policy explains how we collect and treat any information you give us. You won’t find any complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text.
Our policy covers
We value your privacy as much as we do our own, so we’re committed to keeping your personal and business information safe and only ask for the bare minimum from you. We’ll not use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and we’ll not give anyone access to it unless we’re forced to by law or if it’s necessary to provide this service.
Facebook User ID
That ID uniquely identifies you on Facebook and is stored in order to ensure that every person can participate in this survey at most once. In the future it’ll also allow you to view, update and remove your survey responses directly through the website. For that purpose we'll store that information indefinitely.
Note that while Facebook also automatically grants every Facebook app access to your full name and to your profile picture when signing in with Facebook we access neither of these and revoke our own access to your Facebook information as soon as you’re done signing in. Facebook does not give us access to any other information about you except for the information mentioned in this section.
LinkedIn User ID
That ID uniquely identifies you on LinkedIn and is stored in order to ensure that every person can participate in this survey at most once. In the future it’ll also allow you to view, update and remove your survey responses directly through the website. For that purpose we'll store that information indefinitely.
Note that while LinkedIn also automatically grants every LinkedIn app access to your full name and to your profile picture when signing in with LinkedIn we access neither of these. LinkedIn does not give us access to any other information about you except for the information mentioned in this section.
This includes all answers that you provide when participating in the survey except for the survey feedback message and your email address. For the purpose of this website in providing reliable information through the aggregated survey evaluation we'll store that information indefinitely.
Survey Feedback Message
This is the free-form feedback message about the survey itself which you an provide as part of the survey. It won't and cannot be not linked to your Facebook/LinkedIn User ID nor to your Survey Responses and is thus completely anonymous unless you include personal information directly in that message. We'll store that information only as long as necessary and remove it as soon as your feedback has been taken into account.
This is the email address which you can provide as part of the survey when signing up for occasional updates about the survey. It won't and cannot be not linked to your Facebook/LinkedIn User ID nor to your Survey Responses in order to ensure the anonymity of your Survey Responses. It will be stored indefinitely in order to send you occasional updates or to note that you don't want to receive any more updates.
Every visitor of our website can access aggregated information over all Survey Responses including yours.
For example if there are 100 survey participants and 54 participants including you state their gender as female then the aggregated information will only contain that 54% of all participants are female. Your individual answer won't be accessible.
People who work and maintain our website will be able to access individual Survey Responses but will only do so when necessary. They won't be able to link individual Survey Responses to you personally.
Your information is
- transferred using modern encryption,
- stored on properly secured and maintained systems within Europe and
- anonymized whenever possible.
- We set two cookies and these are necessary to keep you signed in. That way you can participate in the survey and also maintain access to the survey insight later on.
- We don't set any tracking cookies nor do we use any tracking service.
- Cloudflare sets a cookie on this website for security purposes.
Marc Knaup is responsible for the security of your information. You can contact him by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any concerns about the information we store or if you want to exercise your right to get information about, to access, to rectify, to withdraw consent for processing, to object the processing of, to erase or to port your personal information.
If we change the contents of this policy those changes will become effective the moment we publish them on our website. Since we store only very little information about you we can inform you about changes only on our website.
